THE INEVITABLE END.
If there is one piece of advice that I could share as you make your way through school, it is to enjoy every moment and cherish every memory. It may sound funny, enjoying high-school with the associated stresses and hardship but it is not until you finish that you realise how much you miss school and the order of structure. Every memory, good or bad is associated with emotion, times of learning and most importantly intrinsic growth. Once your school years begin to wrap up you may reflect on everything that you have done throughout your years at high-school. The achievements, the struggle and the growth of character. No matter what grade you are in at the moment, think back to your first year of high-school, back to the person you were and the experiences that shaped you into the person that you are today. For me, I found myself in tears at the prospect of losing a connecting with a place I had for years wanted to 'burn down'!!!
It is a crazy feeling that stems from the relationships and the memories that you create leaving you with a new found sense of nostalgia. You may hate it now, but trust me one day you will be crying in genuine sadness at the prospect of leaving and that truely is the full circle. We worked hard, lost a lot but gained more in the process. The the opportunity to truely enjoy school and make the most of the time that you have left. One day it will all be a distant memory. Much love.
